Setting effects on Photoshop layer groups

These days designers more and more often use such a technique as setting up effects on a group of layers in Photoshop. It may be really convenient for such effects as Color Overlay or DropShadow, because that allows to change style for all the layers at once instead of changing it for each layer one by one.

Previously, service of automated design to html/css conversion ignored effects which were set up on layer groups and generated a corresponding warning. However, now service supports this feature. All the effects which are set up on the layer group will be applied to every inner layer of this group. Because of some peculiarities of rendering in Photoshop, it may happen that setting layer effect on group and setting it on its inner layer will lead to different visual results, but in most cases it will be the same. That allows to use effects on layer groups freely when developing a design template.
